Guests are invited to the Allies in Action Awards Ceremony, which follows a Capitol Hill Day to advocate for suicide prevention, education, and research. This year's awardees include Sen. Debbie Stabenow (D-MI) for her leadership and work in 2010 to include Depression Centers of Excellent in the Health Care Reform legislation signed into law in March 2010; General Peter Chiarelly, Vice Chief of Staff of the US Army, for his ongoing efforts to reduce the stigma of mental health services within the active military services; and many others.
