Power to the Parents

With diapers, day care and doctors, the idea of becoming a parent can be both exciting and frightening. The financial strains of family life can be overwhelming, and the idea of finding affordable resources may seem out of reach.

CrisisLink can connect parents with a variety of free and low cost resources in the area, whether you’re interested in support groups for new moms, child day care options, children’s clothing or parenting classes.

Birthright International, a CrisisLink Community Partner, is one of these resources and provides free and confidential services to expectant mothers. They offer a variety of services including free pregnancy tests, physicians referral, maternity and infant clothes as well as help obtaining public services.

For more information on this and other parenting resources, call CrisisLink by dialing 2-1-1.
